This is the website of the Portsmouth and Southampton Shergold's.

We are a group of Shergold descendents who initially made contact on Genes  Reunited where we compared notes and information and over a short period of  time have been able to expand our Shergold tree together.

We are James Keith Bowmaker, Julie Lavery nee Shergold, Susan and Roger  Shergold and myself Sandra Till nee Harding.  My father was Arthur John Edward  Harding and his mother was Maria Emily Shergold.

The purpose of this web site is to share and gather information on the various  names in the database; Most of the Shergold's so far seem to be from Hampshire  with connections in Australia and Canada.  I have also been in contact with  Penny Holt in Canada who kindly gave me a lot of information on her connection  to the Shergold family.

I would like to say thank you to Julie Lavery,Sue Shergold, James Bowmaker and  Brenda Hughes for the photographs they sent me to put on this website.

(I will add more later and I am open to suggestions.)
